Light Therapy - Healing the Natural Way

Have you ever wondered how light therapy works?

LLLT, or low-level laser therapy is a therapeutic light (also known as cold laser or soft laser) as opposed to High-Intensity Laser Therapy which is used in surgical procedures and eye care.

Have you ever wondered how light therapy works?

Through a process called Photobiomodulation or PBM, LLLT stimulates tissue changes within the energy-producing part of the cell (mitochondria) which absorbs the infra-red light.   PBM lights have both red and near infrared light beams.  My PBM light has three settings that emit light beams to various depths and frequencies.

PBM is an effective modality in pain relief, inflammation reduction and is beneficial in accelerating the healing process. It is drug-free, non-invasive, and a pleasant experience for the animal.

PBM has a positive impact at the cellular level. PBM initiates a chain reaction in cells that go much deeper than the laser penetration of approximately an inch and a half or less.
PBM and LASER therapies are now considered part of treatment plans instead of “alternative modalities.”

PBM Sessions Offer:

  • Support for healing wounds

  • Relief from Arthritis pain

  • Reduction of scar tissue and adhesions

  • Treatment of strained and injured tendons and ligaments

  • Lower limb joint pain and inflammation

  • Efficacy on acupressure points
